Good afternoon, I am Matt Johnson with the Anew Real Estate Group of Keller Williams Premier Realty and this is your Twin Cities market update for August, 2019. First, we’re going to talk about some numbers of real estate going on around town now. New listing up one point four percent over last year. We had 7,794 homes listed for sale last month. The active number declines six point last month. The active number declines six point two percent. There’s now 11,473 homes for sale in the Twin Cities. The days on market remained the same at 18 on average. While the median sale price increased five point eight percent. The median sale price home in the Twin Cities market is now 283,400 dollars. The dollars per square foot, up four point two percent to a hundred and $50 per square foot. Now, showing activity has been about the same compared to last year in the month of July. We’ve had around 42,000 to 44,000 showings booked in the Twin Cities market in the $200,000 price point, followed closely by the $100,000 price point with around 32,000 showings and of course the three hundreds coming in third at 22,000 showings last month.
