Good afternoon, I’m Matt Johnson with the Anew Real Estate group of Keller Williams Premier Realty and this is your Woodbury Weekly Update for July eighth, 2019. Today, we’re going to talk about a couple of numbers of real estate and then get into some great events happening around town this week. First of all, I hope you had a very happy and safe fourth of July. Over the last week, our listing inventory declined six percent. There’s currently 346 homes for sale in Woodbury, while the pending inventory rose five percent to 213 homes under contract. We listed only 32 homes for sale and sold 40. That’s a list to sale ratio of over 125 percent. That’s huge going into the holiday weekend. Let me tell you about what’s happening around town. On Tuesday, the ninth of July, Our Woodbury Area Lions Club we’ll be having our monthly membership meeting at 5:30 PM at Carmine’s Restaurant. If you’re interested in checking out the Lions Club, or helping with all the great things we do around town, I’d love to have you be my guest. The tenth, we have our Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce board of Directors meeting taking place at City Hall at 11:30. I look forward to some great updates from the city coming from Carl and Mayor Anne Burt. Then, on Thursday, we have a big day. In the morning, at Woodbury Spine, we have good morning Woodbury. That’s a chamber event taking place at 7:30 AM and then we have a ribbon cutting for Doctor Horton’s new Orthodontic studio on the corner of Pioneer and Radio. That ribbon cutting is at 11:30 AM, looking forward to that. Great new space she’s created there. And Thursday night we’re back to the Starlight Cinema. The movie this week is called “Leap” and I’m going to be your emcee this evening. The festivities will begin around seven PM. We’ll have the bounce house there of course and look forward to seeing you. The movie starts at Dusk. A couple of other points of interest around town this week, the Texas Roadhouse, while they haven’t began construction yet, I was told that they expect to open in November. I’ll be surprised if that happens at this point; but, that’s going to be built over in the new city place next to SPIRE Credit Union. Speaking of City Place, the Shriners Hospital will be closing one of their locations in Minneapolis and moving out to Woodbury. They’re going to open up a clinic in the city place development there. One of the medical suites that are going up, and then last but not least Panera in city Center is getting a drive thru, looking forward to that. A little side note, I heard Kowalski’s is getting a pizza kitchen too. So, if you have any questions about what’s happening around town or what’s happening with home values in your neighborhood, I’d love to be a resource. Again, I’m Matt Johnson from Keller Williams at 651-775-7515. Thanks and we’ll see you around town.
