Good afternoon, I’m Matt Johnson with the Anew Real Estate group of Keller Williams Premier Realty and this is your Woodbury Weekly update for Monday, June seventeenth, 2019. Today we’re going to talk about some of the numbers in real estate around Woodbury and then a couple of events around town. First, some numbers. The listing inventory increased just over one percent to 341 homes for sale in the city of Woodbury while the pending number increased two percent to 234 units currently under contract. We listed 52 new homes for sale and sold 38 last week. That’s a list to sale ratio of 73 point one percent, a very good number this time of the year. Couple of events around town, I want to tell you about on Wednesday, the nineteenth, we’re having a blood drive right here at my Keller Williams office from 12 to Three PM. If you’re interested in giving blood and donating, we’d love to have you come out. There is a big need right now and the Red Cross will be managing that for us. Coming up on Thursday, we have a ribbon cutting for Woodbury’s tenth hotel and that’s over at the WoodSprings Suites across 494 from Kohls and that area there and that hotel is opening and that’ll be 11 AM on Thursday, the twentieth. Speaking of hotels in Woodbury, we do have 10 hotels, I wonder if you can think of what all 10 of those are right now. Of course, we have approximately 1200 rooms available for rent in the city of Woodbury. Next, I want to tell you about the road construction project which we have a really cool time lapse video we’re going to share with you. The road construction you’ve undoubtedly seen taking place where 694 meets 494 over highway 94. They are going to be adding some change lanes going through there, going to replace both bridges and then of course they are going to construct some new lanes coming from I-94 to Tamarack as well as Tenth Street to I-94 that we on the West side of that interchange. So there’s going to be additional turn lanes for merging and crossing while the bridges are being rebuilt and repaired but the video showing you here is where they actually lifted up the the westerly of the two bridges and moved it to the East in order to build a new bridge in place of that, that way we can have two lanes going both North and South while construction takes place. This project comes in at the tune of about 28.5 million dollars and will go throughout this year and in through the summer of 2020 should be completing. So, if you have any questions about what’s happening around town with regards to construction projects or new businesses or maybe you’re just wondering what your home is worth, feel free and give me a call. Again, I’m Matt Johnson from Keller Williams at 651-775-7515. Thanks and we’ll see you around town!
