Good afternoon, I’m Matt Johnson with the Anew Real Estate Group of Keller Williams Premier Realty and this is your Woodbury Weekly Update for July 9th, 2018. Today we’re going to talk about the numbers in real estate and a little bit about what’s happening around town this week in Woodbury. First, the numbers: active inventory fell about three percent to 284 homes for sale in Woodbury, while the pending inventory dropped six percent to 241 homes.  That’s pretty typical coming in the first week of July, as we see a lot of those spring sales closing in the month of June. June is typically the highest volume of home closings, both in number and dollar volume. Moving on, new listings: we had 28 units put on the market and 24 sold which is a list to sale ratio of 85.7%.  Great number for a slow week, having a holiday fall in the middle of the week. Say I was out on the river kinda got rained out with the kids on the fourth of July. I hope you had a healthy and safe fourth of July yourself. Coming up, We got Woodbury chamber of Commerce, Chamber 101, that’s for new members of the Chamber or anyone interested in becoming a business member of the Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce, on Thursday, July 12th from 10:30 to 11:30 at the Chamber of Commerce office located over behind the Dorothy Ann bakery at 700 Commerce. Last but not least, I’ll be the MC Thursday night at the Starlight Cinema. We’re looking forward to kicking off the festivities at seven o’clock. We’ll have- the movie is LEGO Ninjago, so we’ll have a ninja costume contest and a demonstration by USA karate, including bounce houses, face painting and all sorts of fun for the kids. I hope you have a wonderful week and we will see you around town. Again, I’m Matt Johnson from Keller Williams, thanks.
