Good afternoon I’m Matt Johnson with the Anew Real Estate Group of Keller Williams Premier realty and this is your Woodbury Weekly Update for June 18th, 2018. Today we’re going to talk about some of the numbers of real estate and then a couple of events going on around town this weekend. But first, the numbers. Listing inventory was down this last week, 2.5% to 268 homes for sale while the pending number grew 7% to 272 properties now under contract. I’d just like to point out that that’s up 92 units since the first week of May, quite substantial growth in that category and it also matches the highs that we saw last year in 2017 I’d like to keep an eye on that number moving forward to see if we get any more growth. Next, I want to let you know that there were 51 new homes listed to the market and 50 properties sold this last week, which means we have the list sell ratio of 98%, almost at one home selling for every home hitting the market which is pretty good for this time of year. Moving on, I wanna tell you about the Starlight Cinema which last Thursday was the kick off with the movie Moana. They had a sing along and it was a great event to a packed Ojibway Park crowd. We’d love to invite you to come out on June 28th, the next event, where we’re going to be playing the movie Sing. Festivities begin at 7 PM, fun for the whole family and the movie right around 9 o’clock or dusk. I’ll actually have a huge bouncy castle there, as I am a booth sponsor coming up at the June 28th event. I hope to see you there. Tuesday night the Chamber of Commerce has an event called business after hours that takes place down at Famous Dave’s from 4:30 to 6:30. On Wednesday, We’re gonna cut some ribbon over at a new location in town for the Fraser clinic. This group helps kids with autism and other autism spectrum disorders. And were really excited about their edition. That’s happening upon Commerce Hill by the Dorthy Ann Bakery on Wednesday. Thursday, the event coming up on Thursday morning with the chamber is called Eggs and Issues where we talk about what’s going on around town with regards to politics and other political related things, that’s at 8:30 at the Hilton Garden inn. I also want to point out, this summer- I’m sorry, in 2019 and 2020 they’re going to be doing a project to rebuild the 694, 494 and highway 94 interchange. This has been called a band aid so to speak, it’s just a little 28 million dollar project to make what’s there better, it’s by no means a long-term solution which is being proposed for further down the road, something like that of the 169, 494 flyover style bridge. So they’ll be working on that for 2019 and 2020. If you have any questions about what’s going on around town or are curious what your home might be worth, feel free to give us a call. Again, I’m Matt Johnson from Keller Williams and we’ll see you around town, thanks.
